Felicem Natalem Everyone!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you! We've had a fantastic Christmas and we hope you have too.

I went to a short church service with Mama Hen. Do you like the dress Emily brought me from the American Girl Store? She also brought the Weekend Fun outfit, Tropical Bloom outfit, and the curling set, as well as a few other presents and odds and ends. We'll be back later with more pictures and news.

Happy New Year!

Daughter of The Prairie: Part II

Windfall's hay was Ana's bed that night. Once the dawn came, she planned to leave. No one would need her, now that Eliza was dead. Hiram was right: Eliza was all she had left. Without Eliza, there was nothing for her with Hiram's family. After all, she had only stayed with them because they wanted Eliza, and Eliza wouldn't leave her.

Summer in December

Hello there, I'm Emily and this is my first time posting, so bear with me while I figure this out.

Today, because it was exceptionally warm, I took Penny outside for a bit of exercise.

My Really Late Birthday Suprise

I going to assume that you all know by now that my birthday is on September 10th (and if you didn't know, you know now). Well, September has long since past and what with all the craziness Mama Hen has overlooked both Samantha and I's birthdays! We had no party, no cake, no presents, no balloons, no anything! To be fair, Samantha went out to dinner with Mama Hen (by the way, Mama Hen was lying when she said that she'd post Samantha's birthday pictures because she never took any), but Mama Hen did nothing with me. Until yesterday, when it was yucky and rainy and she had nothing else to do. I was minding my own business, staring out the window, when she came over and handed me a package.

"Sorry it's so late," she told me, "I didn't go to the store until this week," I ripped open the paper to find...

Yep, it was a laptop! After thanking Mama Hen I went straight to setting up my new, "toy" and figuring out how to use it. Of course, I will have to share with Kirsten, Samantha, and Emma, but thankfully Mama Hen had bought a second one for Molly, McKenna, and Emily to use. And yes, this means we should be posting more often, but you never know. (We should be posting more often anyways, because Mama Hen's Winter Break is coming up and she will have more time to help us.)

See you soon!
